Official Press Release:

The New Egypt Elks Lodge announces they will host their first of three scheduled Pro Wrestling events on Saturday January 24, 2015 at the lodge, located at 105 Lakewood Road in New Egypt.

Well known and loved family community group, United Wrestling Coalition will provide the evenings entertainment. UWC has been running family friendly pro wrestling events for nearly 19 years and has helped countless charitable organizations such as Toys for Tots, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Youth sporting groups, firehouses and individuals with handicaps, to name just a few.

On Saturday January 24, 2015 the doors will open at 6:30 PM. Fans will have a chance to meet some of the wrestlers, as well as get something to eat, prior to the 7:00 PM Belltime.

At 7:00 PM Master of Ceremony Dave Kerstetter will open the show and begin announcing each of the seven action packed matches slated for the evenings entertainment.

Fans will be enthralled as wrestlers make their way to the ring, slapping hands and posing for photos with the fans!

After four matches, the action will break for Intermission. Members of the New Egypt Elks Lodge will be cooking up a storm – offering delicious yet affordable food and snacks! The wrestlers will congregate around the ring. Some will have merchandise to sell. All will sign autographs for the fans! Then after the scheduled 15 minute break, the action will steam ahead with three more matches, culminating with the UWC’s Main Event!!

UWC Promoter Lois Thomas is no stranger to these parts. She graduated Allentown High School in 1984 and has resided in Burlington County with her husband Dave for the past 26 years. Lois has been likened to “The Mrs Brady of Pro Wrestling” for her insistence on providing family entertainment, free from profanity and lewdness. When asked, Ms Thomas explained “these wrestlers are professionally trained and highly skilled. Many of them have been wrestling for fifteen years or better. We simply know they can rely on their talent and ability to entertain – they don’t need to resort to cursing or the use of weapons, and in our pro wrestling organization – we simply won’t allow that anyway!”

Tickets to the event are just $10, with children under the age of 3 admitted free. Tickets are only sold at the door, which opens at 6:30 PM. UWC celebrates birthdays with reserved seats and a special UWC Birthday Card when scheduled prior to the night of the event.

Following the January 24th event at New Egypt Elks Lodge, UWC is slated to return on February 21st and March 21st as well. In fact, tentative dates for monthly events have been penciled in for the remainder of 2015, pending fan interest and turn out.
