Forgotten Boardwalk’s Annual Organ Donation Awareness Event – The Spice of Life
January 27, 12pm – 8pm

Forgotten Boardwalk Brewing will be holding their annual charity event to raise awareness about the benefits of organ donation. “The Spice of Life” was first created by the brewery in 2014 to commemorate the anniversary of Forgotten Boardwalk’s own Seth Dolled’s living kidney donation to his mother Sharon. This year marks the 13th anniversary of the successful donation. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go towards The National Kidney Foundation as well as The Gift of Life Donor Program, who will be on site to help people register as an organ donor during the event using an onsite kiosk. A total of 37 attendees last year registered on the spot to become organ donors and we hope that number rises this year. This event will have specialty made “spiced up” beers, including the original favorite, Lady #8 (Our What the Butler Saw brewed with Watermelon, Basil & Spiced with a blend of spicy peppers) – available on draft and in 16oz four pack cans for the first time.
