The 50th annual North Jersey Orchid Society Show and Sale is Friday January 13 through Sunday January 15 2017 at the Douglass Student Center, Rutgers University in New Brunswick NJ. The show includes spectacular orchid exhibits showcasing plants grown in homes and greenhouses

New Jersey RV & Camping Show
January 18 – 20
The Annual New Jersey RV & Camping Show is the “go-to place” to begin planning your camping vacations for the coming season, trading up to your dream RV, see the new 2019 RVs, or just learn about the joys of travel in a recreational vehicle!

Women’s March on New Jersey
January 19, 11AM – 1PM
The Vision/Mission of the WMONJ2019 is to bring together kindred spirits of women grounded in diversity and celebrating the unique beauty of our strengths and differences. They resist in assuming agency for the many women whose voices have been marginalized and silenced. In turn, they shall uplift the histories and contributions of each woman as we stand shoulder to shoulder, in search of common ground. They accept nothing less than an inclusive safe space to develop an authentic understanding of each other.

11th Annual Town of Clinton Bonfire
January 19, 6PM – 8:30PM
Bring the whole family out for this free community event! Horse & Carriage rides, hot chocolate, cookies, music, marshmallow roasting & of course the spectacular bonfire! They will be collecting canned foods for the Open Cupboard Food Pantry so please bring a can or two!

Winterfest

Come out for an Ogdensburg tradition! There will be a bonfire, hot chocolate, cookies, and an outdoor movie!

Bellview Winery’s Winter Wine Weekend
January 19 & 20, 12PM – 5PM
On January 20th and 21st Bellview Winery will be ringing in the new year with their annual Winter Wine Weekend. Beat cabin fever with wine tasting, special platters just for the weekend, the sounds of acoustic guitar in the tasting room and a toasty bonfire to get rid of that winter chill! Think about bringing friends and family along, because attending this event is free! Wine tasting is optional at $6 for 8 tastes and a souvenir glass to bring home.

Laurita Winery Winter Fest!
January 19 & 20, 11AM – 8PM Sat, 11AM – 7PM Sun
Wine, food trucks, and ice sculpture…what more can you want? Laurita Winery is once again putting on it’s annual Winter Fest, a fun event for the whole family. Bring your lawn chairs & blankets and keep warm by one of Laurita’s many fire pits.

Unionville’s Winter Artisan Market
January 19 & 20, 12PM – 6PM (5PM Sunday)
Visit Unionville for a weekend of art, artisan crafts, gourmet foods, live music, and delicious wine. Over 20 fine producers will join us in the winery, tasting room, and cave room on Saturday from 12-6pm and Sunday from 12-5pm. There is no cost to attend. Tastings are $10. Wine is always available by the bottle, glass, or case. Artisans will include:
Penelope Plum Designs, Margaret Moran’s Baskets, Barry Stout Woodworking, Art by Sue Seif, baked goods by Muller Farms, House of Cork Handbags, Gail Adams Jewelry, Demi Olive Oil, Neshanic Apiary, Gorgeous Goat Soap, Instinct Jewelry, Sugar Jersey Maple Cheeses, Pots and Petals- Pottery and more to be added.

Hunterdon Land Trust’s Winter Farmers’ Market
January 20, 11AM – 1PM
Join the Hunderdon Land Trust’s Winter Farmers’ Market which runs the first and third Sundays of every month from December to early May. New participants this year include seafood vendor, Local 130 Seafood; Aquasprouts Farm, an aquaponics farm with lettuce and kale; Oak Grove Angus Farms with beef; Picklelicious, who offers an incredible assortment of pickles and olives; and Will’s Amazing Vegan Burgers. They’ll also host a number of returning farmers and vendors including Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse, Comeback Farm, Sandbrook MeadowFarm, WoodsEdge Farm, Fired Up Flatbread Co., Purely Farm, Fieldstone Coffee Roasters and River Lea House.
