Top Ten New Jersey Events for August 11th – 13th, 2017:
Middlesex County Fair -August 7th – 13th
The Middlesex County Fair Association has stayed true to its mission of advancing agriculture, education, and the greater Middlesex County community for 78 years. Founded in 1938, the association is a private, non-profit organization that derives its funding from operation of the annual Middlesex County Fair. It is managed by a board of trustees consisting of local farmers and community volunteers, with sponsorship from the Middlesex County Board of Agriculture. The annual fair, held the first full week of August each year on the Middlesex County Fairgrounds in East Brunswick, N.J., attracts more than 85,000 visitors of all ages from across the New York metropolitan area each year. Through its operation of the fair, the association donates thousands of dollars to local high schools, first responders, and charities that serve its mission.

Wildwood Tattoo Beach Bash – August 11th – 13th
The Wildwood Tattoo Beach Bash is a full blown tattoo convention and show in the Wildwoods Convention Center. The Wildwood Tattoo Beach Bash is bringing the tattooers to the crowd for a weekend full of incredible artistry and fun events – major national tattoo artists, live tattooing, contests, and so much more.

Butterfly Festival – August 12th
The Butterfly Festival is our largest annual educational event. It is an enlightening day focusing on the importance of maintaining the delicate balance between humans and the natural world. This family-oriented day has grown to be a major regional event, attracting more than 3,000 visitors.This year’s festival includes a lot of new games and activities for the whole family. Prepare for an obstacle course and dunk tank, hay rides, nature walks and the popular Butterfly and Bug Parade. Tour exhibits, the famed insect zoo, and the Kate Gorrie Butterfly House.

Allaire Village’s Mid Summer Flea Market – August 12th
Hunt for hidden treasures amid furniture, books, art work, bottles, knick knacks, and so much more! The event runs from 8-3pm. $5 admission per car. The village, General Store, and Bakery are open as well. The rain date is August 13th.

Bellview Winery’s Seafood Festival – August 12th & 13th
On August 12th and 13th, cast your line and sip some wine at the Bellview Winery annual Seafood Festival! We will have a wide selection of seafood delights from some of the best gourmet seafood producers in the area. Wine tasting and Sangria will be available outside with chilled bottles inside for purchase. To the Maxx will be playing live throughout the day to get your sea legs dancing. Tickets to the event are $15 and will be available at the admissions tent or on our website. Children and leashed pets are welcome, and we do allow outside food. Outside alcohol is prohibited. Don’t forget to bring your chairs and blankets! Pop up tents are permitted in designated areas on a first come first served basis.
