Tomasello Winery’s New Pop Up Restaurant Bistro ’33

This week New Jersey Isn’t Boring was invited to a media preview event for Tomasello Winery’s (225 North White Horse Pike, Hammonton) new pop up restaurant, called Bistro ’33. Starting Tuesday, May 24th, the new pop up restaurant will be the perfect way to cure your weeknight boredom for a fun night of live music, food, and wine.

The pop up restaurant will feature a classic food menu, but there will be specialty food and drink menus on select nights. Tuesday will be “Taco Tuesday”, Wednesdays are “Ladies Night”, and on Thursdays they will be featuring a burger bar. In addition to wine, Bistro ’33 will also have martinis and specialty cocktails, including a Champagne Margarita which I got to try that night. (it’s the drink with the salt rim)

At the media event, Anna (aka an Aussie in New Jersey) and I were lucky enough to preview a variety of the food they are offering. Since we were at a winery, our meal also was served with 5 different wines, and our menus told us which food item paired well with their award winning wines.

Food we Sampled from Bistro ’33:

First Course
– Shrimp Cocktail

– Sriracha Marinated Chicken Strip in Buffalo Sauce

– LOBSTER MAC AND CHEESE (Sorry for the caps, but these are two of my favorite things combined in one)
– Bourbon Glazed Sea Bass (No words…)

And last, but certainly not least, we ended the night with a dessert martini, which was so good that you wouldn’t want a dessert that is not in martini glass. Game changer.

The night was incredible and I can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much to Charlie and Dana at Tomasello Winery for hosting…you both are true rock stars. To learn more about Tomasello Winery, visit their Website and check them out on Facebook.

Also…how many people do you think were at our table? Hmmm…

I’m at a media preview for @tomasellowinery’s #bistro33. Guess how many people are sitting at this table.

Well, the answer is 5. I had so much fun discussing South Jersey with Amy, Pam, and Chuck of South Jersey Adventures (Website too), and Devon from Visit South Jersey. If you are reading this article, please click on the links to their accounts…they are showcasing South Jersey in such a positive light! It’s always fun to meet people in person that  you connect with on social media who have a passion for the same things you do.

Be sure to check out Bistro ’33 when they debut next week!
