I love love love to shop local…and this month there are lots of cool opportunities to support local vendors at different New Jersey Events! So if you’re looking for something unique this season, be sure to check these events out from December 1st – 3rd, 2017!

Christkindlmarkt – December 1st – 3rd
Tuckerton Seaport rolls out the holly for the Annual Christkindlmarkt on December 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. This is a family fun three day event with late night hours on Friday, celebrating the traditions of the season with a Holiday Market and Craft Fair under a huge heated tent and throughout the Seaport buildings. Come jump start your holiday shopping. Get in the holiday spirit with a horse drawn wagon ride.

Pitman Winter Village – December 2nd
Come shop locally made goods under twinkling Christmas lights during Pitman’s Winter Village! Trolley rides will transport you along the downtown district. Shops & restaurants will be open late. Carolers will be singing throughout town. Santa will be at Christmas Village for those looking to kick off the magic of the season.

The StrangeXchange – December 2nd
Here comes another holiday StrangeXchange! Come One, Come All! Join the Strange Xchange and Weird NJ at the historic Wellmont Theater! The Marketspace at Westfield – December 2nd & 3rd
The Marketspace at Westfield will be open during the first two consecutive weekends in December. This downtown storefront will feature a revolving selection of handcrafted wares and high-end gifts. Gift wrapping and entertainment available on-site. FREE TO ATTEND!

Lake Mohawk German Christmas Market – December 2nd & 3rd
t’s easy to see why the Lake Mohawk German Christmas Market in Sparta, NJ continues to be ranked as “One of the Top Ten Things to Do in December in the State” – it’s simply at the top of the “to do” list for festive shoppers. This magical German Christmas Market beckons to all, with beautifully crafted and unique gifts from vendors near and afar. With the perfect backdrop of beautiful Lake Mohawk…why go anywhere else? Project: Market 2017 – December 2nd & 3rd
The City of Jersey City + THE JERSEY CITY PROJECT will celebrate its fifth Project: MARKET on December 2nd and 3rd, 2017. The heated outdoor market located in the Historic Downtown section of Jersey City, NJ will act as a kick-off to the holiday shopping season highlighting local, celebrating seasonal, and encouraging economic growth throughout the community.

Edible Jersey Holiday Market – December 3rd
The local businesses within Edible Jersey’s 2017 holiday issue help to create and support sustainable communities. This year, these businesses come together for Edible Jersey’s third annual holiday market to sell their locally made goods. The market will take place on December 3rd from 11am-4pm at The Willow School in Gladstone, and will feature dozens of vendors and locally crafted products, from wines to art work to gourmet foods and much more. Admission is free, but we kindly ask for a $5 donation to benefit the Pickals Foundation, whose proceeds help support a cure for ALS.
