The Jersey Diner in Cinnaminson: Review

It’s always a good time to go to a diner, and since I’ve been making more of an effort to visit more South Jersey diners I thought it would be perfect to visit my friend Hollie, aka Fueledbylolz, closer to her home for diner date. We chose to go to the Jersey Diner because we both had never been there, and we had heard amazing things about it.

First impressions of the diner… I was digging the retro exterior of the diner. I love a chrome diner.

When you get inside, the diner is beautifully decorated. I personally loved all the different lighting fixtures throughout the diner. Overall the space was very clean and modern looking inside.

We were seated across from a very eclectic dessert display which was very hard to take my eyes off of. Although I did not end up getting dessert, Hollie did find something she wanted to take home with her. In hindsight I wish I did the same.

The diner menu literally has everything you could ever need food wise, and it was astonishing that the menu despite being large was not overwhelming. They have homemade soup, lots of appetizers, specialty burgers (a Reuben burger AND a marsala burger are just two interesting options), “sizzling platters”, fajitas, stir-frys, and sooooo much more.

Since we were there for lunch, I got one of their many lunch specials. I don’t quite remember the name of special, but I got a breaded chicken sandwich on a PRETZEL bun with cheddar cheese, and fries. The meal, which was under $9, also came with a homemade soup. I of course got matzoh ball…cause it’s my fave. Plus it was a rainy sad day, so a soup was perfect.

Then my meal came…and I was in heaven. I will say that once I saw they had pretzel rolls, I was determined to get any meal that had one. I was very happy with my choice, which would have been enough for two people. The fries were great too!

Overall, a fantastic diner experience! Great food, low prices, friendly service…what more can you ask for? Oh yeah…it’s open 24 hours! Hooray!
