My September in New Jersey

Yay for the beginning of Fall (but yet still feeling like Summer). To vending at more events, new experiences, and of course more food…I had a blast in September 2017. To follow my adventures daily…follow on Instagram @newjerseyisntboring and snapchat NJISNTBORING

September 2nd – Celebrated my BFF’s birthday at Cafe Luna in Old Bridge…it was lovely! I highly recommend it!

September 3rd – Attended a family pre-Labor Day BBQ. Of course we had to bring the NJ booze!

September 4th – My husband and I visited Happy Day Farm in Manalapan and went sunflower picking! That was the first time I’ve ever done that and it was so much fun!

September 5th – I hit the beach! Asbury Park beach that is! I love local Summer (and free beaches).

September 8th – My first trip to Rutgers Gardens! While there we walked around and saw all the pretty flowers…

and stopped by their Farmer’s Market for sandwiches, food tastings, and even wine tastings!

September 9th – I vended at the Marketplace JC located in Jersey City. It was lots of fun, and we got to meet a lot of great people!

I also dined at two new food trucks: Koro Koro Rice Ball Cafe

and Carlito’s Trailer.

September 11th – I love hitting up a downtown area for shopping and dining. Downtown Freehold is one of my favorite places.

September 15th – A fun trip to the Union Plaza Diner! For more on that, check out my REVIEW

September 16th – Fun times at the Drafts and Crafts Festival at iPlay America hosted by the Garden State Craft Brewers Guild.

September 23rd – A beautiful day in Asbury Park! I enjoyed vending at the Asbury Park Bazaar and meeting all the wonderful people who stopped by our booth. Lots of temporary tattoos given out!

September 24th – Couldn’t resist hitting up a NJ diner on Diner Sunday. French toast at the Seville Diner in East Brunswick FTW

September 26th – I stopped by Marc’s Cheesecake in Glen Rock for cheesecake, homemade ice cream, AND edible cookie dough! What an awesome experience!
