The Ridge Diner in Park Ridge, NJ: Review

With so many Bergen County Diners on the list, I knew it was only a matter of time before I took the drive to the Ridge Diner in Park Ridge, NJ. I had heard great things about this diner and was looking forward to visiting!

Before I headed to the Ridge Diner, I did some research and found that they won “Best Diner” in Bergen County by (201) magazine and that they had award winning cheesecakes. Based on that information alone, I had high hopes for my visit.

There were so many things on their menu I wanted to try, including a massive and creative breakfast list, lots of salads and sandwiches, gluten free options, specialty burgers, and your favorite diner classics. Since there were too many things that I wanted I decided to get a few things.

I started with a French Onion Soup, which might be one of the best soups I’ve ever had. It was the perfect about of cheese, onions, broth, and bread.

Next, or it was technically my entree, I got Greek fries. These AMAZING fries were tossed with oregano, lemon, and topped with Feta. On the side was Tzatziki sauce. Soooooooo good.

Despite being very full, I knew I’d regret not ordering one of their famous award winning cheesecakes. So my husband and I split one. I have to say that their traditional cheesecake was very, very, very good. Although I definitely packed on some weight during my visit at the Ridge Diner, I have no regrets.

Overall, a great diner that lived up to the hype!
