Peter’s Diner in Williamstown: Review

If you’re looking for a classic New Jersey diner with classic New Jersey food, then I highly recommend checking out Peter’s Diner located in Williamstown, New Jersey.

Located on Black Horse Pike, this diner offers a lot of charm from the inside out. I loved the metallic chrome outside of the diner:

And the interior details of Peter’s Diner ranging from Greek inspired art work from the walls:

…to the flooring! It’s really beautiful. Plus they keep the diner super clean so that gives you an extra sense of comfort.

Their menu is your typical diner menu with breakfast, sandwiches, salads, entrees…the usual. If you are looking for something that is unique menu item to the diner I suggest the “Peter’s Special”, a prime rib of beef made from the finest blue ribbon steer. Although the special comes in at $22, it comes with soup, salad, potato, and vegetable. The meat is called the “Mammouth Cut”…so be prepared.

I was there around brunch time, so only their breakfast menu was available to me. I started with an iced coffee since it happened to be a very warm day. Soooo good.

And for breakfast I got a classic egg and cheese on roll served with home fries. Nothing fancy. Sometimes you just need to stick to a New Jersey diner classic breakfast item…although their crepes menu was appealing.

If you’re looking for a classic NJ diner, then I highly suggest checking out Peter’s Diner the next time you’re in the area. Good food, affordable prices, and a very attentive staff.
