NJIB’s Last Minute New Jersey Holiday Gift Guide!

Admit it…you haven’t gotten your holiday gifts yet! If you’re worried about not finding the perfect gift, here are some last minute gift ideas that also go to support local New Jersey Businesses. Here are 5 ideas plus a little extra.

1. Why not take them on a Weekend getaway or Surprise Day Trip! It takes you a little over 2 hours to drive through the entire state of New Jersey…why not take someone on a local vacay? I have plenty of recommendations including beach towns like Asbury Park, Cape May, and Ocean City…or you can go hiking at the Delaware Water Gap, enjoy a day trip to the cute village of Smithville, explore history in Morristown etc. There’s plenty in NJ to do (it’s kind of my motto).

2. Does your person love food? You can take them on a Food Tour! Be sure to check out my friends at Jersey Girls Food Tours who do tours in Princeton, Red Bank, Jersey City, and Rutherford. Their tours are SO much fun…plus you get get 10% off with code NJIB. If you don’t know your/their schedule in advance of gift purchasing, they also sell gift certificates! Generally food in general is a great gift idea!

3. With so many theaters, concert venues, and comedy clubs in NJ, tickets to a show is always a great idea.

Or you can also get them tickets to an event like a wine or beer festival, nerdy event, or local festivals. Personally I’d rather get tickets to a show then a material gift.

4. Get them a Pass to Museum, Pass to Aquarium, or Zoo! There’s so many fun places to go in NJ, and there are major perks to memberships.

5. Give the gift of beverages! There’s so many Craft Breweries and Brew Pubs, you can get them a gift certificate, glassware, and beer as gifts.

Same thing for New Jersey Wine, there’s so many amazing vineyards in NJ and wine is always a great last minute gift.

If your person isn’t into alcohol, local coffee works too!

And last but not least, shop local!! Get a Unique gift item from someone in NJ! Be sure to check out local craft events, check out my list of Etsy stores, and hey, why not get a NJisntBoring gift item!

Happy shopping!
