So you’ve heard the old “college buddies put their heads together to start something” headlines right? The Hank Sauce story is no different. Hank, Matt, and Josh were college roommates at Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL who shared a passion for the ocean and a DIY attitude. Hank had been making “the sauce” for personal use for quite some time but never really thought it was something to brag about. When Matt asked about creating a logo/label for a graphic design project at Flagler College they quickly got to work and Hank Sauce was born. When bottles started disappearing from the local taco shop they realized they might have something valuable and decided to move home to Sea Isle City, NJ to build the brand. Husband and Wife team, Graham Connolly and Lindsay Otto founded World Famous Hot Sauce after getting married on Long Beach Island in 2013. Their first hot sauce, LBI Love Potion started out as a wedding favor and the positive feedback they received from their guests convinced them to get into the hot sauce business.
