Jan 12th – 15th – Light of Day Foundation’s 2017 Concert Series
Light of Day is a New Jersey-based 501 © (3) organization which funds research into possible cures, improved treatments and support for persons suffering from Parkinson’s disease and related illnesses. The primary fundraising efforts are an annual series of concerts held in Asbury Park, NJ.

Jan 12th – 15th – Bergen County’s Winter Wonderland
Walk into a Winter Wonderland at Van Saun Park’s festive winter celebration. Attractions include open-air ice skating, carousel rides, zoo entry, train rides and food trucks. Ticket provides access to all activities and skate rentals. Food and drinks are available for purchase.

The Garden State Outdoor Sports Show will take place January 12-15, 2017 at the New Jersey Convention & Expo Center in Edison, New Jersey.

Jan 13th – Superstition Masquarade Bash at White Horse Winery
If luck be your lady, Friday the 13th it is key. Black cats and spilt salt, beware… bad luck runs free! Join White Horse Winery for a LUCKY superstition filled night! Dress up for the occasion in all black and a mysterious mask and come celebrate all things unlucky at White Horse Winery this Friday the 13th! Don’t have a mask? No worries- they’ll have some here for you in the tasting room. What better way is there to turn your luck around than with great wine and live music?

Jan 13th – Icarus Brewing Grand Opening
Without further ado, Icarus Brewing will be open to the public starting at 4:00 PM on Friday, the 13th of January! They will have FIVE beers ready for tasting, including the:

Jan 13th – 15th – North Jersey Orchid Show & Sale
The 50th annual North Jersey Orchid Society Show and Sale is Friday January 13 through Sunday January 15 2017 at the Douglass Student Center, Rutgers University in New Brunswick NJ. The show includes spectacular orchid exhibits showcasing plants grown in homes and greenhouses across the tri-state area.

Jan 14th – Summit Winter Farmer’s Market
Come spend a Saturday in downtown Summit! Park for free, buy your fresh, high quality, locally produced products from the market, and enjoy all the wonderful shops, restaurants, fitness studios, and more in the downtown.

Jan 14th – Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge
The Polar Plunge is SO much more than just an icy dip in the Atlantic! Jan 14th – PopUp Anthology at Trenton Film Society: Local Short Film Night
Enjoy a program of short films by local filmmakers with PopUp Anthology and Trenton Film Society! A Q&A and reception will follow the screening. Films by: Erin Zapcic (DAYDREAMER), Evan Maron (WOLF OF THE WOODS), Melissa Rose De Leon (THERAPY), Amy Frear (SELKIE), Gina Marie Rodriguez, and Bill Drummer (FRAME OF REFERENCE).
