Boonton First Friday: Go Red – Feb 5
Businesses will be open late for an evening of sales, socializing, dining, art, and shopping! Go Red First Friday Late Night, which is a collaboration with Boonton Main Street (boontonmainstreet.org) whereby you take one of the red hearts either during the week or that evening and proceed along Main Street in Boonton. Participating stores will stamp or sticker the heart and once finished, can use the heart as an entry for a free raffle drawing for a one-year membership to our Y.

Cocktails for a Cause: Valentine’s Wine and Beer Tasting – Feb 5
The Marine Mammal Stranding Center will be holding its 2nd wine and beer tasting fundraiser. This event will be from 6 – 9 pm. Circle Liquor of Somers Point will be hosting a selection of over 50 beers and wines to sample. There will also be food, entertainment and great atmosphere! All proceeds from this event will benefit the Marine Mammal Stranding Center so please come out to support New Jerseys marine life!

NJ International Beer Expo – Feb 6
The biggest names in brewing will gather at the Meadowlands Exposition Center at Harmon Meadow, 355 Plaza Dr. in Secaucus, NJ for the sixth annual Great Beer Expo. This beer tasting extravaganza will showcase breweries from around the corner, across the country and around the globe—more than 80 breweries in all!
The Expo, a thirst-quenching pay-one-price beer tasting event, offers beer aficionados, beer lovers and the casual beer drinker the opportunity to speak to company representatives and the brewers responsible for creating some of the world’s most popular and award-winning brews. Attendees come out in record numbers to support all the local guys and are excited when they discover a new beer from a national or international brewery!

Sharrott Winery’s Wine and Chocolate Weekend – Feb 6 & 7
Wine tasting is $10 per person and includes 6 samples of our award-winning wines and a souvenir glass. Groups of 8 or more are $12 per person and must have a reservation. Wine Club members taste for FREE.

Wayne NJ Toy Show – Feb 7
This is NJ’s longest running collectibles show with over 80 tables of collectibles you’ve been searching for from your childhood and modern toys that will rekindle your love of all things plastic. The show also hosts a dizzying array of movie memorabilia, hard to find films and comic books. Transformers, Star Wars, Marvel and DC Comics, G.I.Joe, Disney, Kaiju, Anime, MEGO, Funko Pop Vinyl… toys, action figures, statues, art toys, convention exclusives… make a wish, you’ll probably find it here!!
