FEATURING CRAFT BEER, MUSIC AND THE BEST OF THE WURST

Celebration to Feature Local Craft Breweries, German Foods and Live Music on Sunday, September 27

Pig & Prince Restaurant, announced its third annual Oktoberfest celebration featuring local craft beer, traditional Oktoberfest imports, barrel tappings, amazing food including German favorites and entertainment on Sunday, September 27 from 2:00PM – 10:00PM.

Pig & Prince’s Oktoberfest will feature local breweries including Ramstein (High Point Brewing Co.), Brooklyn Brewery, Brewery Ommegang, Kane Brewing Company, Carton Brewing and Magnify. The event will kick off with ceremonial barrel tappings from Magnify and Ramstein and feature live music from The Celebration Sounds Brass Ensemble (traditional German) and The One & Nines (from Jersey City), traditional German food favorites and craft beer specials. Pig & Prince’s Oktoberfest event is $20.00 per person at the door and includes a souvenir etched Pig & Prince “Oktoberfest” mug.

“We are extremely excited to host our third annual Oktoberfest celebration,” said Mike Carrino, chef/owner, Pig & Prince Restaurant. “Our goal is to consistently throw an Oktoberfest celebration bigger and better than the last, featuring German food favorites and a representation of the best breweries in the area.  We’re looking forward to a blockbuster event and invite guests from all over our great state of NJ and beyond to come down and celebrate Oktoberfest Pig & Prince – style.”

Chef and partner, Mike Carrino, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He has made guest appearances on NBC’s Today Show, Good Day New York, CBS 2 Saturday Morning, Today in New York, LX New York, News 12 New Jersey and has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Bon Appétit, New Jersey Monthly, Inside Jersey, The Star-Ledger, New York Post and Zagat Dinning Guide and many more. He competed and was declared the winner of his episode of Food Network’s popular cooking competition “CHOPPED.” Additionally, on nine separate occasions, Carrino has been invited to cook for the prestigious members of the world famous James Beard Foundation in New York City.
