The Lakehurst Diner: Review
I love a cheap diner and the Lakehurst Diner meets that requirements! Located on Riverside Ave, this quaint diner has a lot of character.
For starters I was intrigued by the design of the diner. It definitely doesn’t look like your average New Jersey Diner. It felt almost like a greenhouse in a weird way just because of the all the windows.
Their menu is your typical average diner menu, from breakfast all day, sandwiches, bigger entrees, etc.
Because we were there for lunch, I took advantage of their awesome lunch specials. The specials ranged from $7 to $10 and included soup and a small beverage.
For soup I got split pea, since I seem to be on a split pea soup kick lately. It was very good!
For my entree I got stuffed shells, something I don’t think I’ve ever gotten at a diner before. Also very good!
The whole meal cost me $7! It was awesome!
Although this was an average diner experience, I will say their customer service and pricing are a big bonus!
