Fox Hollow Vineyards in Holmdel, New Jersey: Review

It’s always fun to discover a new place to visit, especially when it’s a new winery! Fox Hollow Vineyards (939 Holmdel Rd, Holmdel, NJ) was a fun experience for a day date with my husband.

Fox Hollow Vineyards is centrally located NJ vineyard on 94 acres of land in Monmouth County. It is owned and maintained by the Casola Family, a popular local family of 6th generation farmers who expanded their businesses to wine. All of their grapes are grown on their property, so all the wine you taste is true New Jersey wine.

When visiting their tasting room, expect to find beautiful views outside with plenty of seating.

I personally loved their seating room right outside the winery which was beautiful! The area is family friendly and dog friendly too, which is a major bonus.

Because they had a nice variety of reds and whites, we decided to do a wine tasting! Their wine tastings are $12 per person which includes 5 wines of choice & souvenir glass, or you can upgrade to their Reserve Wine Tasting for $15 lets you try their reserve wine.

We also got their cheese platter because it classed up the whole experience. Just kidding, we were hungry.

Wines I sampled:
– 2014 Barrel Aged Riesling
– 2016 Rose
– 2014 Chambourcin
– 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon
– Seasonal Sangria

All of their wine bottles are reasonably priced and I love their Fox logo. My favorite wine that I tried was their Riesling, since it wasn’t as sweet as your typical Rieslings. I look forward to seeing what they serve seasonally.

Bonus! They have a winery dog who you can actually see walking the tasting room! It was delightful. I had a great time greeting every dog that visited the winery. It was a nice social experience.

Overall we had a delightful experience hanging out at the Vineyard! It’s great to have another winery in Central Jersey!
