The Fontainbleau Diner Restaurant in Piscataway: Review

For this diner trip I ventured to the Fountainbleau Diner Restaurant in Piscataway with my good friend and fellow diner enthusiast Hollie aka FueledbyLOLZ. Wow, I’m almost done with my Middlesex County list! Crazy!

The diner hasn’t been updated in a few years…but in a good way. I personally loved the retro feel of the diner, including all the mirrors. I love a good mirror wall.

The diner’s menu has EVERYTHING! Salads, Sandwiches, Steaks, Seafood, Italian, Greek, …and of course breakfast all day! Although the menu is big, it’s not overwhelmingly big like some other diners so it makes it easier to make a decision.

I personally enjoy going to a diner for lunch on a weekday, because they typically have amazing lunch specials. The Fontainbleau Diner Restaurant not only has amazing lunch specials, but their lunch specials are good from 10am to 8pm. That’s a big time for lunch! The specials span from omelettes to sandwiches, Greek specialties to Italian food. If you don’t find something you want on the lunch special list I would be surprised.

Since I can never pass up a good deal, I knew I was going to get a lunch special…but now I had to decide! Not only did they have a lot of amazing options, but all of them were the same price.: $8.41. Why that price point? I have no idea, but I dug it. Every lunch special came with soup or fresh fruit, and an option of coffee, tea, or a soda. Normally I just get water, but I can’t pass up a “free” drink.

For soup they had my favorite, Matzoh Ball, so I was a very happy customer.

After much deliberation, I ended up with Grilled Chicken, mashed potatoes, and veggies…

This entire meal cost me $8.41! Incredible!

If you can’t go there for lunch, the diner’s menu is extremely affordable. It may be one of the most affordable diners I’ve been to! Plus, the food is fantastic so don’t be concerned that it’s cheap.

I personally loved this diner for its great diner food options, affordable prices, and great service. I highly recommend it!
