My February in New Jersey

I’m warning you in advance, when you look at what I did this month you’re going to be like…all you did was eat. I assure you I did many other things this month…having said that, yes I did go to a lot of different restaurants this month (and reviewed most of them). February is the shortest and sometimes coldest month of the year and since Spring is about to Sprung(?), I am very much looking forward to March. February 1st – I spent the first day of the month at Sandy’s, an Italian restaurant located in East Brunswick, NJ. Considering it was a Monday, the place was PACKED. I also got a three course meal for under $16…so win win. It pays to go out during the week!

February 2nd – Happy Groundhog Day! I spent this year’s Groundhog Day in Milltown, New Jersey for their annual Groundhog’s Day celebration with Milltown Mel. For more on that experience…click HERE

I also visited the Vincentown Diner for my 150th diner review! To read more about that, click HERE

February 8th – I headed to Morris County to eat at Urban Fire in downtown Madison, a quick brick oven pizza place that makes all their pizza made to order. SO good.

Of course how could we not visit the Statue of Liberty while we were there?

Had dinner at the famous Zeppelin Hall in Jersey City, where we attempted to eat this massive meat pretzel…

And last but not least, saw NJ’s own Jim Breuer perform at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank.
