Diner Round Up – Yellow Rose Diner in Keyport

While antiquing in Keyport, my husband and I decided to look for the closest diner. That diner was the Yellow Rose Diner, and it was not on my diner list for Monmouth County. GASP! I fixed it as soon as I realized it.

The Yellow Rose Diner looks small, but it actually has an upstairs section which you can book for parties. So that’s cool.

They had a pretty big menu which also features a lot of dinner specials. As an added bonus, because they’re close to the water they have a lot of seafood dishes.

Because this was a late and overdue lunch, I ordered a Chicken and Shrimp Fajita since it looked like it was a lot of food and I was hungry. Boy, was I right. I’m surprised I got all the food in one picture. Well the tortillas aren’t pictured. Oh well.

This diner is cute and is definitely a throwback diner with the wood paneling and small breakfast counter.

If you’re traveling on Route 36 you should check it out!

FYI Monday – Friday they do 2 for $20 dinners.
