Diner Round Up – Wayne Hills Diner

The Wayne Hills Diner is just one of the many diners you’ll find in Wayne, NJ. I’m not exaggerating…drive through Wayne and you’ll find more diners in one town than I have ever seen. Needless to say, I’ll be making many trips there.

The reason I chose the Wayne Hills diner is because I heard they had a gluten free menu(it’s hard being me at the moment) and an excellent reputation.

The diner had a very extensive and interesting menu. My one friend got a bacon sandwich, not a BLT, a flat out bacon sandwich. I have a feeling some people might travel there now just for this sandwich, and I must tell you that my friend was one happy camper.

I chose not to get a gluten free option off the menu(although it was a very good menu), and instead had a chicken florentine omelet (chicken, spinach, feta, tomato) which was one of the best omelets I’ve ever had and kept me full pretty much all day. I think all my friends went the Brunch route on that particular day, and everyone was very satisfied with their meals.

Overall, I would really recommend this diner. When you think of a classic NJ diner this would come to mind. It has mirrors everywhere, it’s shiny on the outside and best of all…it’s open 24 hours!  You gotta love a 24-hour diner…
