Diner Round Up – Victoria Diner in Branchville

Driving to Sussex County is a LONG drive for me. Personally, I love it there but I do not enjoy the 3 hours round trip it takes me to get there. The Victoria Diner, in Branchville, is one of the reasons making the drive is worth it.

I had never been there before but I was reading Yelp reviews about how awesome their BBQ is. I thought that was peculiar. I had never known a diner to be known for their BBQ before. Turns out they are very proud of their BBQ and smoke their meat on premises.

I’m not a big meat eater but….when in Rome. I ordered the most delicious French Dip I have ever had. The meat was amazing. Pair that with a side of home made fries (no frozen crap here) and au jus and it was heaven on a plate.

My husband got a cheeseburger that looked very delicious as well.

It’s a small diner that looks like part of a train. I loved it.

It can maybe fit 50 people, and has a very cute diner counter. The waitresses were lovely, the prices were decent, and the food was incredible. It may not look like much from the outside, but it was a fantastic diner experience. I would love to go back!
