Diner Round Up – The Sunset Diner in Ocean Twp

photo 1(1)

The Sunset Diner in Ocean Twp (or Wanamassa depending on who you ask) is a great little diner in the center of tons of shopping. It is also 3 minutes away from Kane Brewing in case you are looking for a meal and a beer.

The diner itself is bigger than it looks for the outside, but it is still  a pretty small diner.  Blink and you could miss it! Although it was the morning Sunday rush, we luckily got a table very quickly. The staff is very friendly there.

Their prices are extremely affordable. It’s probably one of the most affordable diners I’ve ever been to.

I ended up getting a Mediterranean omelet that was basically a gyro omelet, which is pretty cool. It had feta, onions, tomatoes, and a choice or chicken or beef gyro. It also came with pita instead toast which I found delightful.  Plus it came with a side of tzatziki sauce!

The diner is a definitely a local hang out and seems to get a ton of repeat business . You should see their pictures of celebrities who have dined there! It’s cute, it’s cozy and most importantly their food is great (you should see their desserts!). I definitely recommend it!
