Diner Round Up – The Pantagis Diner in Edison

IMG_1501

I finally got a chance to go to the Pantagis Diner in Edison. This diner is FAMOUS for their cheesecake so I knew I would be using my cheat day on a trip to this diner.

It’s a really clean diner, and it has a really nice decor. It’s not the biggest diner, but we got a table right away.

I had heard about this diner by their cheesecake, but I also heard that their chicken fingers were amazing as well. Thanks a lot Yelp reviewers. Sigh. It was not a healthy eating day for me…but at least it was worth it. I feel like sometimes when you’re at a location and you don’t know when you’ll be there again,  you need to have a “When in Rome” philosophy when it comes to food. If a place is known for something in particular…it’s okay to sometimes just go for it!

And I started the meal off with a salad! So that’s good right?

By the time I was done I was very, very full. But I wasn’t going home right away…so if I wanted cheesecake I knew I knew I had to eat it there. Luckily I could “convince” my friends to split it with me.

They had a ridiculous amount of cheesecake options, but ultimately the peanut butter cheese cake sounded the most appealing to me that day. It did not disappoint.

This diner is open 24 hours so you can definitely go any time you’d like. You can also stop in and get cheesecake to go if you’re not in the mood for a sit down meal.

The food was great, the dessert was great, and the service was super friendly. The diner is clean, nicely decorated and the menu was reasonably priced.
