Diner Round Up – Sunrise Diner in Roselle Park

The Sunrise Diner in Roselle Park is a small diner off of Westfield Ave. It is a total throwback! I felt like I have been transported back in time. I wanted to put this diner in my pocket and take it home it was so cute. They have retro seating, lighting, mirrored walls…it doesn’t look like it’s ever been updated. I loved it.

This is definitely a local diner since it felt like everyone knew everyone there (except my husband and I). Our waitress was one of the friendliest waitresses I have ever had.

They have a great menu, and their prices are definitely affordable. I was in a Greek mood, so I decided to go with a chicken soulvaki which came with a small Greek salad AND fries (not pictured). This very filling meal only cost me $9. It was awesome. I loved everything from the chicken, to the pita, to the salad, and the fries were great too.
