Diner Round Up – Sand Castle Diner in Beachwood

photo 1(1)

While I was in Beachwood last weekend I decided to check out the Sand Castle diner. They had good reviews and I heard they had award winning burgers.

The diner itself has a classic NJ diner feel. It’s on the smaller side and has a cute counter with stools.

I had been craving a quesadilla for a long time, and this quesadilla did not disappoint. It was good, cheesy, filling….just fantastic.

Since they are known for their burgers,  my husband got one. They were voted the best burgers in NJ by the Star Ledger (but I don’t know what year that was). He gave it two thumbs up!

Overall, the diner was really great. Their diner isn’t too big or complicated so you can make decisions easier, their staff was very friendly, and the food came out quickly!
