Diner Round Up – Nautilus Diner in Madison

IMG_1192

I recently got to check out the Nautlius Diner, located on Main St in Madison, NJ. I got to attend the diner with my good friend and fellow blogger, Creating Krista, who is a fellow lover of all things NJ.

As I learned while I was there, this diner is a common hang out for students at Fairleigh Dickinson University. I think it’s a great spot for a diner in general, since the downtown of Madison is so cute! You could easily spend an afternoon or a whole day shopping and eating all throughout town.

But back to the diner…

The menu has a lot of items, but I had trouble deciding on what to get. After debating between gyro and a quesadilla, I ended up getting a vegetable sandiwch with a side of sweet potato fries. I wasn’t thrilled that this somewhat pricey sandwich didn’t come with a side, so I had to add on the fries myself. Oh well.

The meal itself was really great! The panini had portabello mushrooms, eggplant, spinach, red peppers, balsamic and cheese. It was very tasty. The fries were also very good, so I’m glad I decided to get them. I also enjoy a sandwich that comes on a pita!

And if you have time and aren’t completely full, stop by Crowley Cupcakes for the cutest cupcakes I’ve ever seen. Photo is courtesy of Creating Krista’s instagram.
