Diner Round Up – Monroe Diner
While looking for a spot for breakfast in the Middlesex County area…I decided to revisit the Monroe Diner, a diner I haven’t been to in a long time.
The Monroe Diner is a small diner located in a shopping center on Perrineville Road in Monroe Township.
What I like about the diner is that their prices are very reasonable, and the food comes out quick. I think it was 5 minutes between the time we ordered and when the food arrived. Perfect for when you’re hungry/hangry.
Since I was there for breakfast time, I got the #1 special. It had 2 eggs, home fries, toast, juice and coffee or tea for $5! That’s a pretty fantastic deal…and I left feeling full and caffeinated.
They have a smaller menu compared to other diners, which I personally think is a good thing since I get overwhelmed by a big menu.
Overall, this diner is cute and a good spot to eat! Definitely check it out!
