Brunching at Molos Restaurant in Weehawken

When venturing in Hudson County for an amazing place for brunch…I would definitely recommend Molos Restaurant. This beautiful Greek restaurant is situated right on the water in Weehawken, giving you beautiful views of the NYC skyline.

The restaurant features many windows giving you views of the city whether you’re upstairs of downstairs. There is no where in the restaurant that you would not have a great view.

My husband and I were very lucky to be there on a beautiful Sunday afternoon for brunch. On the weekends, Molo Restaurant features a full brunch menu featuring many of their classic Greek items as well as their spin on breakfast. Of course we couldn’t resist their “bottomless brunch” cocktails, and my husband and I enjoyed mimosas and bellinis (you can also get a Bloody Mary or champagne).

Molos has a full bar, which seemed to have every kind of liquor including New Jersey Craft Beer!

Because we were hungry, I wanted to try a few things on their menu, so I started with their famous Greek salad. They very nicely made me a half portion since they knew we were going to be ordering a lot of food. Other popular Greek appetizers include octopus and their Kalamari (grilled or flash fried calamari with herb aioli).

My husband does not enjoy salad, so he enjoyed the  bread, butter and jam which came complimentary with our meal. Molos also makes their own olive oil which goes great with their freshly baked bread.

I decided to get the “Bird’s Nest” which was a mound of shoestring fries, three sunny side-up organic eggs,  and artisan sausage. It was AMAZING.

My husband got the “Steak and Eggs”…because you can never go wrong with steak and eggs.

Other options on their menu that looked delicious are their truffle mushroom omelette, their Grecian Frittata, and their lobster benedict. Fun Fact: Sundays are their “Lobster Feast” day as well, which is a three course meal with lobster as the main course.

We were pretty full, but our waitress recommend their French Toast which she said would be great as a shared dessert. She was right.

I can’t say enough nice things about our experience at Molos Restaurant. We had a beautiful meal looking out onto the water, great cocktails, and amazing service. They even had a live band!

I am looking forward to going back to see that view at night!
