Langosta Lounge’s Annual “Boobs for Life” Event Tuesday Oct 25
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, oceanfront restaurant and bar Langosta Lounge proudly announces its annual Boobs for Life event on Tuesday, October 25 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.. Event tickets are $50 per-person and include a delectable dinner by the sea featuring a delicious array of hors d’oeuvres, a buffet, live music, prize giveaways and free parking in the lot across from the venue. A portion of proceeds from the event will benefit Mary’s Place by the Sea, an Ocean Grove-based non-profit organization that provides a place for women with cancer to heal: mind, body and soul.
“Boobs for Life is an important event not only for our company and Mary’s Place by the Sea, but for our community. We must continue to work to raise awareness of risk factors, early detection methods, screenings and prevention, as well as funds for the continuation of research efforts for breast cancer,” commented Marilyn Schlossbach, owner and executive chef The Marilyn Schlossbach Group. “This year’s event is exciting in that we changed the programing from a brunch to dinner so we may welcome more attendees for a delicious meal in support of a great cause – we hope to see you all on the 25th!”
In addition to the buffet dinner, the evening’s stationed appetizers will feature Langosta Lounge’s well-known global-cuisine such as: pancetta kale mac and cheese, lobster and vegetable pizza, ricotta meyer lemon crostini and flatuas with cilantro sour cream, to name a few. Guests will also be able to enjoy a specialty cocktail among other spirits at the cash bar.
Boobs for Life will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25th at Langosta Lounge on the Asbury Park Boardwalk (1000 Ocean Avenue). Tickets are $50 per person and includes oceanfront dinner, music, prize giveaways and more. This event is made possibly by the generation contributions from Monmouth County businesses, the Marilyn Schlossbach Group, Mary’s Place by the Sea and Food for Thought by the Sea. Guests can enjoy free parking in the lot directly across the street from Langosta Lounge.
