On Saturday, September 12, families can enjoy live music, delicious food, a beer and wine garden, kids’ games, vendor booths and much more at the 13th Annual Bedminster Charities Fall Fest. The event will run from noon to 6 p.m. at River Road Park in Bedminster. Proceeds will benefit seven local charity groups.

At the festival, children can enjoy 10 huge bounce houses, games of chance where everyone’s a winner, face painting and hay rides. They can also join the hourly story time from the Clarence Dillon Public Library or do hands-on art activities from The Center for Contemporary Art.

While the kids play, adults can visit vendor booths, gather giveaways, bid on a silent auction and check out the Classic Car Show from the Street Dreams Car Club. Attendees can also talk to local emergency responders as they demonstrate safety equipment or tour an ambulance with the Far Hills Bedminster – First Aid Squad.

Keeping pace with the latest food trends, Fall Fest will feature food trucks Amanda Bananas, The Thai Elephant, Oink and Moo BBQ, Empanada Guy, Jersey Johnny’s, Kona Ice, FalaFull and Original Soup Man.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair and listen to country singer Leanne Weiss, country blues singer/songwriter Collin J. Rocker, rock and soul band GoodWorks, and roots rockers Rodeo Gypsies.

Bedminster Charities Fall Fest sponsors include AT&T, Ferriero Engineering, Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club, Pluckemin Inn, Trump National Golf Course, Recorder Publishing and University Radiology.

The Fall Fest is presented by the Bedminster Charities, a non-profit group of community volunteers and representatives from seven local charities: Far Hills-Bedminster Fire Dept., Far Hills-Bedminster First Aid Squad, Pottersville Volunteer Fire Co., Friends of the Clarence Dillon Public Library, the Bedminster School Parent/Teacher Organization, the Center for Contemporary Art and the Friends of the Jacobus Vanderveer House.

“The Fall Fest is a wonderful day celebrating our entire community. Attendees not only can enjoy a fun day, but also raise funds for the non-profit organizations that serve our community,” said festival organizer Zac Rubin.

Admission is $5 per person and is free for children under age three. Free parking will be available on-site. For more information visit the Bedminster Charities Fall Fest website at www.bedminstercharities.org or email info@bedminstercharities.org.
