The Bandwagon Diner in Toms River, New Jersey: Review

The Bandwagon Diner aka Mr. Breakfast, is a family owned diner located on Route 37 in Toms River. This diner is now my 201st diner review! In case you missed diner review 200, click HERE

I met up at the diner with my good friend and diner enthusiast Hollie, aka FueledbyLOLZ. The last time we went to a diner in Toms River we drove past the Bandwagon diner, so we thought we’d cross another Toms River diner off our list. (this makes our third Toms River diner visit together)

The Bandwagon Diner has your typical, classic diner fare including breakfast all day, burgers, gyros, salads, sandwiches, and homemade soup. Plus hot dogs, which seems to be more of a Jersey Shore diner option.

Overall their menu is very, very affordable. Where else can you get 3 eggs with a NY Steak Strip Steak for $12? I was actually very surprised and impressed how low they keep their costs.

On the topic of how affordable they are, I ended up getting one of their lunch specials! For under $9 I got a meal that came with soup, potato, and choice of drink.

I chose an unsweetened iced tea…

a chicken noodle soup…

and an eggplant parm sandwich with mashed potatoes!

So much food! And all of it was great!

For a snow Tuesday afternoon the Bandwagon Diner was packed with regulars! If you’re looking for great, easy food and low prices than this Toms River diner is definitely worth visiting!
