Artists’ Reception – Jersey Artist Registry: Exhibition #1, January 18th, 2015

The artists’ reception of Jersey Artist Registry: Exhibition #1 will be held Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Hotel Tides. The public is warmly welcome to this event where admission will be free, street parking will be free, snacks will be free, but alas, there will be a cash bar. The Hotel Tides is on 408 Seventh Avenue in Asbury Park, NJ, 732-897-7744. Please call the Hotel for additional viewing hours. The show will close on February 22.
The Exhibition will contain 30+ works from 16 artists in painting, photography and sculpture, ranging from Outsider to Insider; Traditional to Abstract and Emerging to Established. Work from painters Dawn DiCicco, Erica Geralds, Michael Hanna, Patricia Hutchinson, Brian Jones, Zeet Peabody, John Roff, Karen Starrett and Ellen Martin; photographers Marilyn Baldi, Marlo Montanaro, Joan Myers, Kevin Hinkle and Colin Seitz; and sculptors Andrew Pawlan and Amy Puccio will be on display. Many are award-winning artists.
The Jersey Artist Registry is an invitational site created by Ellen Martin to show off the talent of New Jersey visual artists. Says Martin, “I wanted to create a strong visual site where you could see all the work immediately upon opening the page. My target audience for the site is gallery owners, interior designers and collectors. Any sales made are strictly between the artist and the buyer. I take no commissions.”
“This does not replace an artist’s own site, but rather serves as a pointer to his or her work,” continues Martin.
