A Late Lunch at Nagles Apothecary Cafe in Ocean Grove

While hanging out at Bradley Beach last weekend, my friends and I walked to Ocean Grove to eat at Nagle’s Apothecary Cafe. I had never been there before, but my friend who lived in Ocean Grove said it was really great, and I do love trying new places.

Nagle’s used to be a pharmacy which they renovated into a cafe/diner and ice cream parlor. It was definitely something different.

The food menu all looked excellent, but their menu listed that their quesadilla was one of their best items…so we split it. 5 people, 5 slices…perfect! I would definitely, definitely recommend it.

I saw they had a special of a chicken panini with pesto, and I can never resist a panini especially one with pesto. Bonus: it came with my favorite kind of fries.

Although my meal was great, my friend got a very impressive sandwich called the Dagwood which is basically a sandwich filled with A LOT of meat. Ron Swanson would have been very happy to get that meal.

Overall, it was a great place to eat and although I was too full for ice cream, my friends who did get it loved theirs. It was super busy because it’s the Summer and it was a perfect beach day, but I definitely recommend it!

People I would take here: Friends, Family. It’s a cute place to eat if you’re at the beach

Frequency of return: I would definitely go again next time I’m in the area
