Boonton Zombie Walk – Oct 2
Businesses will be open late for an evening of sales, socializing, shopping, dining, and most importantly to welcome the walking dead to Main Street! Local musicians and bands will be playing live that evening all along Main Street.
Attendees are invited to dress up like a zombie to capitalize on promotions and discounts from participating retailers!

Turtle Back Trot- a 5K Fun Run – Oct 3
Join the Turtle Back Zoo for its inaugural Turtle Back Trot- a 5K Fun Run. Participants can enjoy a walk, trot, or gallop around the park’s reservoir while contributing to the long-term enrichment of critters, children, and the community. Zoo friends of all ages will enjoy live entertainment, refreshments, smiles, and more!

Jersey Bites Beer Bus Tour – Oct 3
Hop on board Jersey Bites first Beer Bus for a full day of beer education and guided tastings of some of the Jersey Shore’s top breweries and beer destinations. The tour will start at Beach Haus and end at Beach Haus but not before a few stops up the coast. Once boarded, the Beer Bus will make its first stop at Carton Brewery for a guided tour and tasting, ending with pork sliders from Memphis Pig Out. Then its off to Maloney’s Pub, a premier beer destination for craft beer lovers. Their resident beer expert, Ron, will tell us about the NJ brewing landscape and host a tasting of Kane Brewery’s latest concoctions. Finally, the tour will end where it started: Beach Haus. There you’ll enjoy another guided tour and end with a beer tasting boat and lunch. So hop on and get your beer education on! Ticket includes tastings and food at each spot, water, a custom beer mug and lunch.

Skylands Stadium Beer Fest – Oct 3
This unique fall festival staged at Skylands Stadium will give you the opportunity to sample more than 40 craft beers and enjoy great food, music, and games! This event is open to all ages, but you must be 21 and older to participate in the beer tasting.

Uncorked: A Music, Wine and Arts Festival -Oct 3
Join Appel Farm as we celebrate regional artists, musicians and wineries from noon – 6 pm. Create wine-inspired art while sipping on a variety of vino from the Vintage Atlantic Wine Region, listen to acclaimed musicians from the Delaware Valley, play in our Kid Zone and enjoy food from local culinary artists. Seton Village’s Food Truck and Craft Beer Festival – Oct 7
The Seton Village Committee will be kicking fall into high gear with the return of its highly successful Food Truck and Craft Beer Festival on Irvington Avenue. The event, in its second year, will be held on Friday, October 2 from 5pm-10pm. The festival will once again spotlight great food trucks, live music, and local restaurant specials as well as a craft beer garden. The craft beer garden, sponsored by South Orange’s Gaslight Restaurant and Brewery, will be open to adults 21 and over, will feature local NJ craft beers as well as the Gaslight’s own locally-brewed selections.
