South Jersey Bacon & Beer Festival – August 14th

The first-ever South Jersey Bacon and Beer Festival, set for Thursday, Aug. 14 at the Collingswood Scottish Rite Grand Ballroom in Collingswood, will run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and offer beer and food tastings from eight breweries and 16 restaurants. Restaurants are asked to prepare bacon-inspired dishes and breweries will share tasting size samplings of their beers at the event. Participating restaurants are include The Tortilla Press, Tortilla Press Cantina, The Pop Shop, Keg & Kitchen, Braddocks Tavern, Otts Tavern, Bistro Di Marino, Inde Blue, Andreotti’s Catering, Crux Cafe, Blueplate, L’Oceano, Flemings Steak House, Regular Guy Catering, Tavro 13, Aunt Berta’s Kitchen, The Little Tuna and Whole Hog Cafe. Breweries include Weyerbacher, River Horse Brewing Company, Saucony Creek, Yards Brewing, Sly Fox, Pinelands Brewing, Flying Fish and Rinn Duin.

“Truck”erton: Food Truck & Brew Fest –  Aug 16

Vintage North Jersey Wine & Food Festival – Aug 16 & 17

Vintage North Jersey, a collaboration of northern New Jersey wineries, announces its first Wine & Food festival to be held at one of the oldest north Jersey wineries – Four Sisters Winery. Take a ride out through beautiful northern New Jersey and experience some fine wines, local flavors and local bands at one centrally located venue. Wineries will be paired with local specialty food selections, some of which are produced on the vineyards themselves. Wineries include Ventimiglia Vineyards, Cava Vineyard and Winery, Brook Hollow Winery, Villa Milagro Vineyards, Beneduce Vineyards, Old York Cellars, Unionville Vineyards, Hopewell Valley Vineyards and Terhune Orchard Vineyards and Winery.

Collingswood Crafts & Fine Arts Festival – Aug 16 & 17

Come to the Collingswood Crafts and Fine Art Festival held along historic Haddon Avenue in downtown Collingswood on the third weekend in August each year. More than 150 crafters and fine artists from throughout the United States will offer their latest works at the 9th Annual Festival! Selected by a jury each year, these respected artisans will offer contemporary works of wood, clay, glass, metal and fiber for sale – the newest in hand crafted and exciting visual art.
