Burlington County Farm Fair – July 15 – 20

Located at the new Burlington County Fairgrounds at the intersection of Route 206 and Jacksonville-Jobstown Roads in Springfield Township NJ (just 1/4 mile south of the Columbus Farmers Market), the Fair offers a variety of activities to the more than 100,000 visitors expected in 2011. Horses, cows, rabbits, chickens, sheep, goats and other animals are on display each day. Most of these are shown by 4-H members who hope their project animal will win a blue ribbon. Daily horse shows, all new food vendors and new for 2011 is a Tractor Pull track and a Tractor Pull in scheduled for Thursday evening. Old steam engines and antique farm equipment can bring back memories for Grandpa. See the full schedule for details on the many new things happening at this year’s fair!

Cape May County 4-H Fair & Chicken BBQ – July 17 – 19

FREE admission for 3 days of old-fashioned family fun, including amusement rides, evening live entertainment, midway, 4-H horse and livestock exhibitions, food court,

Thursday night livestock auction, delicious chicken BBQ served every night from 5 pm until its gone, Children’s Pet Show Saturday at 9 am. Saturday antique tractor auction and Exhibits, booths and hands-on activities.

Morris County 4H Fair – July 17 – 20

4-H exhibits, entertainment, pony rides, dog show, talent show, children’s pet show, dress-a-pet and dress-a-cage contest. Hay rides, 4-H dog show, small animal show, seeing eye puppy demo, petting barn, karate demo, chicken bar-b-que, and more.

NJ State Ice Cream Festival – July 19

The NJ State Ice Cream Festival will have games, rides, food and entertainment. Fun for the whole family! Ice Cream makers from all around New Jersey will be competing to have their ice cream be named the best in New Jersey!

Film One Fest: July 19

New Jersey State Crab Festival – July 19

Event takes place in front of the Ice House Restaurant, 4415 Park Blvd., in Wildwood featuring a block party atmosphere with “crabby” fun for the entire family! 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Festival includes bushels of blue claw crabs, a beer garden, “must try” crabby bloody marys, vendors and exciting things for the kids including a crab race at 6 p.m. Live outdoor entertainment will be featured throughout the day as well as a special performance by Parrotbeach at 7 p.m., a Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band. Barrel Trail Weekend – July 19 & 20

On July 19th & 20th, New Jersey wine enthusiasts will get a chance to sample future award-winning vintages direct from the barrel of their favorite wineries when the Garden State Wine Grower’s Association’s Barrel Trail and Wine Tasting Weekend is held at participating wineries across the state.

Gourmet Food Truck Weekend – July 19 & 20

Enjoy gourmet treats from the tri-state area’s top food trucks. Bring your lawn chairs and beach blankets to enjoy the festivities on Laurita Winery’s rolling grassy slopes, many terraces and pergolas overlooking 40 cultivated acres of vineyards, or stake your spot in the adjacent Wine Garden, a cool, shaded area with children’s playgrounds and two entertainment stages.
